It all began on the snowy slopes of Alta, Where Mike and Katie first crossed paths. Both shared a passion for the mountain lifestyle. Their initial meeting on the patio, &amp; then Peruvian bar, affectionately known as the P-dog, sparked an instant connection. Over the next three years, their love blossomed amidst weekend trips, cozy nights by the fire, and shared adventures in the mountains.Their relationship reached new heights when Mike proposed to Katie against the breathtaking back drop of Alaska. Surrounded by glaciers, and wildlife, Katie said YES. Sealing their commitment to a lifetime of love and adventure together. The couple chose the Snowpine Lodge as their wedding venue. Planning to exchange vows on June 20th 2026. Surrounded by the same mountains that brought them together. As the wedding day approaches Mike and Katie eagerly anticipate celebrating their love with family and friends. In the place where the journey began. These two peas in a pod are ready to promise a future filled with happiness, adventure, and unwavering devotion.

Providing mountain views, The Snowpine Lodge in Alta provides accommodations, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant. Complimentary WiFi is featured throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The lodge offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and shower. The Snowpine Lodge offers 4-star accommodations with a hot tub. Laundry facilities, and a business center are available, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Hiking and skiing can be enjoyed nearby, while a ski equipment rental service, a ski pass sales point and ski-to-door access are also available on site. The Tabernacle is 29 miles from the accommodation, while Utah's Hogle Zoo is 22 miles away. Salt Lake City International Airport is 30 miles from the property.

There will be a shuttle from Snowpine to GMD. We will arrange an option of ride shares for welcome drinks from snowpine to GMD. You can also walk in closed toed shoes from the Snowpine to the GMD.

BRUNCH ON SUNDAY - THIS IS AN EPIC FULLFILLING MEAL PROVIDED ONLY ON SUNDAYS. WE WILL MOST LIKELY BE RECOVERING THERE FROM NOON-2PM 0N 6/21 YOU NEED A RESEVATATION, IT IS VERY POPULAR.

Seventy One restaurant is great there. Short 5 minute drive from Snowpine Lodge. The TRAM ride to the top of the mountain is fabulous. Fantastic views. There is a restaurant at the top of the mountain but you will want to call to ensure it is open. Plenty of hiking trails to get into here. We also love going to General Grits a lil shop in the main plaza, it has alcohol, snacks, goodies and a great sandwhich shop in the back. Also serves a quick breakfast.

Great Restaurant option at Snowbird just a short 5 minute drive from Snowpine Lodge.

Another great Spa just 5 minutes down from the snowpine. I love a Spa day and will recommend the yoga classes here any day. I personally love the foam rolling classes and pool.

The Cliff Spa

DOWN VALLEY

This is an Easier trail at the bottom of the canyon. It is 3/4 mile to the lake. elevation gain but not crazy. Absolutely breathtaking and my camera back drop for many years. Strongly recommend making time for this trail.
